摘要： 重读评议20多部影片，可以看到上海20世纪三四十年代电影佳作迭出，群星灿烂，具有与世界先进文化同步发展的深刻的现代性。

Abstract: By re-examining 20 films in varying degrees, this essay accounts for the fact that the Shanghai cinema in 1930s and 1940s has a large quantity of excellent films and wellknown stars. Thus it displays a deep modernity of keeping a simultaneous development with the world's advanced culture.
